Mils & Cards Both Lose on Sunday

The Melville Millionaires had won 12 of their last 13 games heading into last night's matchup with the last place Weyburn Beavers... and, I guess were due for an off-night, as they fell 10-2.

Weyburn managed 14 hits, and forced the Millionaires to committ 4 errors.

Paul Lamantia and Tyler Lowey had two hits each for Melville, who now sit tied for first with Regina, after taking a half-game lead at one point this weekend... and, they're in Regina tonight.

----

8 Yorkton Cardinals had hits in a 9-hit attack against Medicine Hat, but the Cardinals dropped a 4-1 decision on home field yesterday.

Preston Lyon went 2-for-4.

Yorkton's got a big Divisional game tonight as well, at home against Weyburn at 7:05. The Cards have 2-game lead over the Beavers for 3rd spot.
