Another Time Change! Wayway @ Neepawa 6:30 MB Time!
Make it 2 broadcasts in a row that I (and the team) arrived at the rink only to find the game starts at a different time than we all thought. On Wednesday, the Yorkton @ Humboldt game was moved from 7:30 to 8:00... no biggie really... but today, I drove up to Neepawa, got to the rink at the same time as the Wayway bus (about 5:20 MB time)... and we find out it's a 6:30 MB start, not the 7:30 that was listed on the MJHL website. So the guys went back to their 7-and-under days, got dressed in 15 minutes and are warming up as I type. We're on the air at 5:20 SK time now!

Gongshow has been the past 2 years at Neepawa, but I think you have to blame the league on this one. The Natives are a team and organization that will have a very good team this year. The results should be positive for this team. The executive is very committed, and it is nice to see progress in this team.
Yeah I wasn't blaming them... or anyone specifically... just the fact that I had to call the station at 4:45 SK time and tell them I'm actually on the air at 5:20 instead of 6:20... only to learn at about 5:15 there were no refs... whole situation = GONG SHOW! I was very impressed with Neepawa... some new guys along with some top end guys from last year make them a pretty deep club... I think they're definitely a playoff team. If Wayway plays like they did tonight consistently, they won't be.
