Wolves' Offensive Woes Continue

Scoring goals hasn't come easy for the 2009-10 Wayway Wolverines through the first tenth of the season, lighting the lamp just 11 times in their first 6 games.

The scoring slump continued Sunday in Neepawa with a 5-1 loss. The Wolverines were out-shot 23-2 in the first period, and 51-16 on the night... just one night after managing just 15 shots in an 8-3 loss in Dauphin.

Ryan Regel scored their only goal Sunday, his team-leading 3rd, and 6th point of the young season as the Wolverines fell to 1-and-5.

Wayway returns home on Tuesday to face the Portage Terriers at 7:30.
