During the 2009 SJHL Credit Union Cup playoffs... a lot of the press went to the Melville Millionaires' shutdown pairing of Curtis Beech (pictured) and Jeremie Houde. Both of them are off to the ACAC to play Canadian College in the fall, and they'll play AGAINST eachother for the first time.

The ACAC has added two more SJHL players as Melville defensemen Curtis Beech and Jeremie Houde have made post secondary commitments.
Beech is headed home to Calgary to play for Mount Royal. Beech, considered one of the SJHL's top shut-down defensive defensemen, had 1-goal and 15-assists in 56-games for the Mils this past season.
Houde, a steady first-pass type of blueliner, had 1-goal and 3-assists in 39-games as a 20-year-old. He missed a large portion of the second half due to injury; but returned for the playoffs. Houde will play at Concordia.
