Weekend Recap

Lots of local ball over the weekend...

The Melville Millioniares won the latest Baseball version of the Highway 10 rivalry on Saturay, downing the Yorkton Carindals 10-4 at Jubilee Park.

James Green and Sean Gaughan were both 3-for-5 at the plate, while Josh Corriea drove in 3 runs in the win. Felix Brown, Jared Ivan and Andrew Haake all had 2-hit nights for the Cards.

Yesterday, both teams were back at it... the Mils won 9-3 at home over Moose Jaw... 3 more hits for Green... who went 3-for-3, and now leads the league with a .426 average.

Brandon Morgan went 2-for-4 with a homerun and 3 RBI's.

Yorkton's now in third, a half game back of Regina.
