AGM Recap: Chats With the Coach & Pres

Well, it's amazing how many people stay home when there's nothing negative to complain about!

Sorry, had to get that out of the way... but after last year's AGM required a change of venue to seat the 217 people in attendance... I'd guesstimate about 40 came out last night... and it was a very quick, and positive meeting.

Some highlights:

Terrier Board
Lyle Walsh- President (Year 2 of 2 yr term)
Larry Wells- VP/Governor (Year 2 of 2 yr term)
Bill Wright- Treasurer (Year 2 of 2 yr term)
Alan Hill- Secretary (Year 2 of 2 yr term)
Ron Pasloski- (Re-elected to 2 yr term)
Ward Brown- (New... 2 yr term)
Doug Buliss- (New... 2 yr term)

The Terriers have 7 board members as of now, 2 less than the usual 9.

- Marketing improved, keeping it local (Bill Foffinoff/Trent Cassan)
- Season ticket prices/Ticketmaster staying the same.
- Awaiting word from gov't regarding a grant for dressing room upgrades.
- Terriers made $57,995.97 in 2008-09. Their bottom line is now $37,019.19 to the good.
- Lotto was a sell-out for the first time ever, made an all-time high profit of nearly $90,000.
- Kirk Byczynski will attend minor pro camps in the summer.

I went to the AGM last night but i forgot to ask the question on the 7:00 or 7:30 start time, and it was not brought up. Did you hear any info on this Steiner?

I asked Lyle about it afterwards (you can hear it in his interview), and it's staying 7:30, for this year at least.
