Terrier AGM Tonight / Tuesday Results

The Yorkton Terriers hold their Annual General Meeting tonight (WED) at the Gallagher Centre Convention Centre starting at 7:00.

5 positions are open on the Terrier Executive for the coming season, and so far, Ron Pasloski has announced he'll run again, while Doug Buliss (Canadian Tire) and Ward Brown (Brown's Leisure World) will run for the first time. Unless something changes quickly (today), they'll likely be nominating executive members from the floor. GX94's Randy Atkinson will chair the meeting again this year.

I've had to explain this to a couple fans... the poll in the top right corner isnt' the "tell-all" of whether the Terriers will move their start times to 7:00 or stay at 7:30. Myself and my blog just don't have that kind of power. I'm sure it will be up for discussion tonight. And I think I've got the poll closing today at noon... it only lets each person (computer) vote once, but have your say and it'll be good for me to go by at least. For pretty much the whole time the poll's been up, it's been roughly two-thirds voting for 7:00, one-third for the status quo 7:30. Those who work until 6:00, and out-of-town referees have been the biggest demographics against the change. While those with young kids at the games, and those just wanting games to be over by 9:00ish of course would like to see earlier start times.

PLEASE VOTE... and do come tonight!

I'll be there, but feel a little bad about it, with my whole block of neighbours doing a mass "fence build" starting tonight. I'll lend my drill, and hopefully they'll leave something for me to do... if not, guess I'll have to make it up when the mass "grass laying" comes around.

I went to the AGM last night but i forgot to ask the question on the 7:00 or 7:30 start time, and it was not brought up. Did you hear any info on this Steiner?
