CIOLFI CHARGES BRONCO COMEBACK

Former Terrier Robbie Ciolfi felt very much at home in his return to Farrell Agencies Arena as a Humboldt Bronco.

Ciolfi scored his 12th goal of the season and added two assists, as his Broncos beat his old club 4-3.

The Terriers led 3-1 late in the second period, before Ciolfi cut it to 3-2 with 13 seconds left in the middle frame.

He added his second assist of the night in the third period, on Adam Antkowiak's late game winner.

Keven Cann, Brent Struble and Jamie Vlanich scored for the Terriers, while Zak Majkowski had two assists, and Kale Thomson stopped 37/41 shots in his first loss of the season.

The Terriers fall to 7-10-0 on the season, and as usual this time of year, get punted from FAA for a while, as Harvest Showdown takes centre stage at the Gallagher Centre. The Dogs start a stretch of 6 straight road games Wednesday in Esetvan (7:30 on GX94).

The Wayway Wolverines got back to the .500 (7-7-1) mark, with a solid 4-1 win over the visiting Neepawa Natives.

James Davidson made 27/28 saves, Steven Duda and Zaine Walker had 2 assists each, while the goals came from Russell Turner, Richard Little, Jean-Michel Naud and Brett Pinkerton.

The Wolverines are one point back of OCN for 2nd spot in the Sherwood, and wrap up a 5 game home stand Thursday against the Winnipeg Saints.
