The Swan Valley Stampeders have acquired 1991 F Anthony Nobili from the Neepawa Natives, in exchange for 1992 D Cole Klippenstein.Nobili, a Montreal product, scored 15g-21a-36p in 53 games last season in Neepawa, and had 2g-3a-5p in 12 games so far this season.
Klippenstein was recently acquired by the Stampeders from Weyburn.
Nobili won't play against his former club on Friday, as he picked up a one-game suspension as a result of the hazing incident in Neepawa.
