Jeremy Johnson of the Ochapowace Thunder has been named the Prairie Junior Hockey League's Rookie of the Year.
The 18-year-old from Yorkton has a team-high 27-goals and 52-points in 34 games for the Thunder, after playing Single-A Midget in Yorkton last season.
He's also played 5 games with the Yorkton Terriers so far this year.
Goaltender Nathan Montgrand (Fort Knox), Defenseman Zach Watson (Fort Knox) and Ron Cote (Ochapowace), and forward Landon Minto (Regina/Fort Knox) were also named to the South Division All-Star team.

GX94's 5th and final regular season PJHL broadcast is this coming Wednesday, February 2nd, when the Ochapowace Thunder host the Pilot Butte Storm, 7:30 in Lebret.
