1989 F Cody Zubko (Preeceville SK) scored two goals and one assist through the first two games of the Sherwood Conference Survivor Series. A robust power forward, Zubko appears determined to make his final junior season his longest one.

SJHL DEFENSEMAN OF THE WEEK - Jordan Reeve, Melville Millionaires
1989 D Jordan Reeve (Regina SK) played a key role for the Melville Millionaires over the weekend as the Mils were in a 1-1 series with the Yorkton Terriers. Reeve scored two late third period goals in game one that helped a three goal comeback.
Runners-up: Mike Alexander, La Ronge; Drew McDermott, Yorkton; Dustin Stevenson, La Ronge.
