Mils Win Circus Game 7-6 Over Terriers

Now THAT was a wild one.

The Melville Millionaires led 5-0 halfway into the hockey game, but the Yorkton Terriers chipped away, much in thanks to a deadly powerplay (3-for-5) and tied it up 6-6 in the game's final minute, before the Millionaires scored with 15 seconds left to win 7-6 in regulation, tying the two teams up in the standings heading into Saturday's rematch at Farrell Agencies Arena in Yorkton.

Both teams had several guys who stood out. The line of Justin Hollinger, Logan Herauf and Michael Desjarlais combined for 10 points for the Millionaires, Dane Bonish had two points, as did Jordan Reeve in his long-awaited return to the lineup. The Terriers were boosted by the return of their captain Cody Zubko, who had 2-goals and an assist, as did rookie Brent Struble. Blaine Tendler picked up his first two SJHL points (2a), Adam Moar scored his first goal as a Terrier, tying the game with 45 seconds to play.

I talked to Hollinger after the game, mainly because I THOUGHT he scored the game winner, and was credited with it, but he was honest and told me before the interview that it was infact Jordan Reeve's goal (or should have been), as Reeve sent a wrister toward the goal and Hollinger supplied the screen.
