Jayme Janzen made 22 saves on 23 shots in his Swan Valley Stampeder debut, keeping the Portage Terriers in check for a 2-1 Stampeder win.
It was Swan's second straight 2-1 victory, and fourth straight 'W' overall, and the last three were all by one goal.
Darcy Riddell scored his 18th of the year for the game winner in the second period, while Shelby Gray notched his 7th on a first period powerplay.
The Stamps are in Wayway Tuesday, and in Dauphin on Wednesday. Both games on GX94.

Wayway and Melville didn't have the same luck. The Wolverines fell 3-1 in Neepawa. The Mils lost 7-3 at home against Battleford.
The Yorkton Terriers host Battleford tonight (SAT) at 7:30.
