Coburn Commits

Yorkton Terrier defenseman Greg Coburn will spend next season in Schenectady, NY, as a member of the Union College Dutchmen of the NCAA.

Coburn verbally committed to the Division One school this week, as he enjoys a stand-out season on the Terrier blueline that has him leading the team in points, with 12-goals and 37-points in 47 games.

"Our 20 year old guys work extremely hard for the team, but obviously they have their own individual goals," says Terriers' Head Coach and GM Ed Zawatsky. "Hats off to Greg, he's had an oustanding season, he's a good kid, and it's a tribute to our organization that we're able to get another player on the NCAA scholarship route."

The Union College Dutchmen play in the ECAC Division I, the same conference as other notable schools like Cornell, Harvard, Yale, Princeton, and RPI.
