Derek Serdachny opened the scoring for Yorkton, but the Humboldt Broncos would score the next five in last night's 5-1 win over the Terriers.
Tory Allan scored twice, while Steven Schroeder, Tanner Vandesype and Taylor Piller rounded out the scoring. Bronco defenseman and SJHL scoring leader Brady Wacker added 2 assists (should have been 3) to his league leading point total, which hit 70 last night.
The Terriers are without a win in their last 6 games and have fallen 3 points back of Kindersley for third spot. The idle Klippers now have 5 games in hand.
On the bright side, just 3 of the Terriers' final 9 games are on the road. They're home to La Ronge this Sunday at 6:00.

The Melville Millionaires may have 4 games in hand on the Weyburn Red Wings, but with last night's 4-2 loss to the Wings, I think it's fair to say that first place is Weyburn's to lose.
Rhett Bly, Shawn Courtney, Preston Shupe and Tyler Penny scored for Weyburn, while Casey Dion and Matt Kinnunen replied for the Mils.
Weyburn now leads Melville by 6 points. The Red Wings have 65 points and 8 games left, seven of which are on home ice. The Mils, who've now lost 3 in a row, have 59 points and 12 games remaining (7 home, 5 road). They're in Estevan Friday night, catch the action on GX94.
