14-0

Millionaires' C/GM Jamie Fiesel called it the most embarrassing game he's ever been through in hockey.

The Mils lost 14-0 in Estevan last night. The Bruins scored 7 first period goals... 3 in the second and 4 in the third.

Scott Doucet led all scorers with 7 points... 2 goals and 5 assists... Brant Harris had 3 goals and 3 assists.... while Brody Haygarth scored 4 times and added a helper.

Travis Bosch allowed the first 4 goals, while newcomer Brady Wilyman was in for the next 10.

The Mils have now dropped 4 in a row... and are now 8 points back of the first place Weyburn Red Wings.

Melville's back at it tonight as they host the La Ronge Ice Wolves at 7:30.

Quote from the post game show:

"The only good thing I can possibly find out of this, is sometimes it takes hitting rock-bottom to realize how bad it is. Through this slide, we kept thinking, 'it'll be okay, we're a good team.' We're not a good team, right now, we're a HORRIBLE team, and I hope we realize that. We better realize that."

They'll bounce back tonight... don't jump off the wagon if you're a Mils' supporter! Head to the vault tonight.

Its tough not to jump off the band wagon especially when you drove all that way in -40 weather to see the team stink up the joint that badly. To come all decked out in your mils stuff and have to sit through that was very painful.

Yeah... I even said on the air, "the people I probably feel most sorry for are the section of Mils Nation across the rink from me right now in their jersies and hard-hats. They drove a long way and it's too bad they picked this game."

I felt for ya guys... but I told you they'd be back. 6-3 over La Ronge in a game they trailed in twice is far from convincing I know, but they are missing 2 of their top forwards and two of their top 4 defensemen.

It'll be an exciting post season yet in the Vault. The Sherwood is anyone's right now.
