We got booted from our Kindersley hotel because they couldn't guarantee us a late checkout... but we got lucky and managed to get into the Gold Eagle Lodge in Battleford so we'll stay here tonight before heading back to Kindersley for tomorrow's game.
I'm above centre ice as I type this... the Timbits Red are scrimmaging with Timbits Black at the moment. Just recorded an interview with Brayden Metz, who's back in the lineup tonight after serving a 3-game suspension. So I'll run that during the first intermission, and then Brayden's old coach in the second. Metz used to play in Chilliwack for Jim Hiller, a former Millionaire.
Talk to you tonight. 7:20 Pre Game Show, 7:30 Play by Play... looks like Lakeville, Minnesota's Joe Moore will be providing colour again. He tells me he had a good night's sleep, ate healthy, and had 2 throat "Lozengers", as he called them... so he's fired up and ready for his second broadcast.
