Another Road Win For Melville

The Millionaires wrapped up a stretch of six straight road games with a 4-1 win over the Weyburn Red Wings on Tuesday night. The Mils went 5-0-1-0 during that stretch, and are now 16-2-2-0 for the season.

After Weyburn's Sam Graham opened the scoring at 3:15, Matt Kinnunen scored his first of the year on the powerplay, Shane Stanicky scored back to back goals, his 8th and 9th of the season, while Kale Dolinski scored into an empty net from his own end with :13 left. Tyler Murray chipped in with a couple assists, while Curtis Beech, Jordan Reeve, Kirk Mastad and Tyson Melnychuk also got on the board with helpers.

This was the first of seven straight games for the Mils against Sherwood Conference opponents. They host Kindersley Thursday and Saturday, play Weyburn back to back Tuesday and Wednesday, before a home and home against Yorkton next Friday and Saturday.

Apparently the sound quality was garbage, atleast for the first period... and I'm told it was near impossible to hear interviews. So, here's Daniel Hope's Player Profile from the first intermission. Also, you can hear Jamie Fiesel by clicking on the Weekly Coach's Shows link.
