Our third Robin's Roundtable Show of the season goes tonight at Robin's Donuts & 2-for-1 Pizza in Yorkton, from 7:00 - 7:30.
I'll be joined by Yorkton Terriers' GM Don Chesney, while I'm not positive at this point who'll be coming in from Melville. It sounded like Coach/GM Jamie Fiesel is going to Winnipeg tonight to catch some World Under-17 action. Hoping to line up Ass't Coach/Ass't GM Neil Lamberty for the show.
Tune in, or better yet, join us for supper at Robin's!
------------
Speaking of Under-17's... Team West lost their exhibition game 4-0 to the United States last night in Portage.
Melville's Damon Severson had a couple penalty minutes.
Swan Valley defenseman Landon Peel and Grandview's Ryan Pulock are also on Team West.
They play Team Pacific tonight to open up the Round Robin.
-------------
Stephanie Sawchuk scored two late third period goals to make it a little closer, but the Melville Fox FM Prairie Fire dropped to 1-and-1 at the Mac's Tournament in Calgary, with yesterday's 6-3 loss to the Highwood Raiders.
For the girls to make the playoffs, they'll need to win their last two round robin games, and then likely win a complicated tie-breaking formula.
They play the Edmonton Thunder this (WED) morning at 9:00 SK time, and the Calgary Flyers tomorrow morning.
