Well, two MJHL broadcasts for me in a row saw the team we cover get blanked.
Swan Valley lost 1-0 Tuesday in OCN, then Wayway fell 4-0 at home against Dauphin on Thursday, ending the Wolverines' season-high 3 game winning streak.
Shane Luke (SH), Ryan Dreger (league-leading 41st), Mitch Czibere and Bryce Lamb scored for Dauphin, while Brett Willows needed just 15 saves for his second shutout this season.
Brett Gagnon kicked out 21/25 in goal for Wayway.
----
One other game saw Portage win 5-4 in a shootout over Winnipeg South, which puts the Terriers now 9 points back of Swan Valley for 2nd spot with 2 games in hand.
Last night's action brings the MJHL to its All-Star Break, with the Prospects Game today (FRI) and the All-Star Game tomorrow (SAT) in Winkler.
Regular play resumes Sunday.
Wayway's home to OCN on Monday, while Swan Valley's at Winnipeg South on Thursday.
