The Swan Valley Stampeder line of Myles Stevens, Chris Reimer and Shelby Gray seem to love playing in arguably the MJHL's toughest rink to play in... the Gordon Lathlin Memorial Centre in OCN.
The trio put up 5 goals and 13 points between them in Wednesday's 6-2 win over the Blizzard, and have now won 3-straight games, against their Sherwood Division rivals, the last two of which were on the road.
Last time the Stamps were there, on November 11th, they also combined for 13 points in a 7-5 win.
Stevens led the way this time, with 2g-3a-5p, while Reimer (2g-2a) and Gray (1g-3a) had 4 points apiece. Brad McDonald had the Stamps' other goal, his 10th of the season, as he becomes the ninth Stampeder to hit double digits in goals this season. That stat is an MJHL best for Swan Valley. Dauphin has 9, but Mitch Czibere is one shot away from making it 10.
The Stamps are also a season-high 13 games above .500, at 26-13-2-3, and are now 9 points up on Portage in the race for second place. The Terriers have 4 games in hand.
Jayme Janzen made 29/31 saves for Swan Valley, who travel to Dauphin to face the Kings on Friday (7:20 on GX94). The Stamps have 3 remaining matchups against Dauphin, all on the road, and they're yet to beat the Kings in Dauphin this season, infact all MJHL teams have yet to accomplish that!
Chris Reimer, re-takes the team lead in goals for the Stampeders, scoring his 30th and 31st of the season Wednesday, leap-frogging Ryan Marshall. Myles Stevens' 45 assists rank him second in the MJHL.

Rob Lazo scored his first career SJHL goal, but that was all the offense the Melville Millionaires got in a 2-1 loss in Humboldt.
The Mils have now lost 3 straight, and fall 2 games below .500. They're still 2 points back of the 4th place Yorkton Terriers, and no longer have any games in hand.
The Millionaires host La Ronge on Friday, and Melfort on Saturday.
