Mils Lose Fight-Filled Battle in Weyburn

(Shorty before opening faceoff... my first look at Melville's new red road unis.)

(Garage sale of sticks, helmets and gloves after the line brawl)

(Captains Michael Jordan and Tyler Penny get explanations from referees Longley and Haberman)

It's late... and I don't feel like typing details from a brawl. I will say it kind of started out of nowhere. Matt Kinnunen and a Red Wing (it's a blur, forget who fought who) squared off after a face-off, and all of a sudden EVERYONE joined in. Suspensions will surely be handed out, and Mils' Defenseman Austin Krahenbil was assessed a Match Penalty, which usually carries a 3-game suspension with it.

Herauf (5th) and Reeve (1st) scored for the Mils. Rakochy made 31 saves in his first loss. Penny had 2 for Weyburn, Wrigley had a goal and 2 assists. Whiffen got the win making 33 saves.

If you have any "down time" because of a delay, let's hear about the melee! There were a lot of gloves dropped. Who was involved? who won the fights? any blood? lol...

nice shots man nice to see some in game updates either here or on Twitter. I know it's tough to do but good on ya!

As for the brawl,Krahenbil WILL be gone longer than three after the league reviews the tapes.I assume that Fiesel will be a little lighter in the pocket book as Mils instigated and jumped three of the Redwings. As for the 2 ref system they can take it and shove that where the sun don't shine
