A night after a 5-2 win in Melville, the Yorkton Cardinals (14-10) made it back-to-back over their Highway 10 rivals with a 1-0 win over the Millionaires (11-7) at Jubilee Park on Canada Day.
Chris Cox (6 innings), Chris Byford (2 innings) and J.J. Leaper (1 inning) combined for the shutout, and the game's only run came from Yorkton's Brandon Dhue, who hit his second homerun in less than a week to make the difference.
