The Yorkton Cardinals and Melville Millionaires had just 3 hits each as they both were on the wrong end of decisions on the road Wednesday night.
The Cardinals dropped a 6-4 final to Moose Jaw.
Andrew Haake hit a 2-run homer, his 3rd jack of the year to supply the bulk of the offense. Mark Magdaleno and Garrett Brown had the other hits. Cory McEvoy pitched the first 4 innings, Andrelton Simmons got the loss, tossing the next 3, while Dillon Wilson took the hill for the 9th.
- Melville, after a 19-hit outburst the night before in Swift Current, managed only 3 in a 6-3 loss in Medicine Hat. All 3 runs were scored with one swing of the bat, as Josh Corriea smacked a 3-run shot, his first of the year, giving him a team-high 14 RBI's. Matt Warr and James Green had the other two hits on the night.
