GOTTA BELIEVE!!!

There's the man behind the sign! Mils' Trainer Dave Melnychuk endearing himself to the Bronco faithful behind the bench before Friday's Game 3 in Humboldt.

=============

Did you know...?

- Broncos' goalie, and story of the series (so far) Matt Larochelle was the backup for the Camrose Kodiaks last season... the team Humboldt beat 1-0 in the RBC National Final.

- The Millionaires are 5-and-3 on the road in these playoffs... and just 4-and-5 at home. Also, if they were to lose tonight, the Mils would finish the playoffs with a .500 record (9-and-9). Humboldt's 11-and-3.

- NOT ONE player in the series has a point per game through 4 contests. And Curtis Beech is tied for the Mils' lead in points. Himself and Brayden Metz have two assists each.

- Melville has not won a Game 5 in the post season in their previous two chances. They lost 3-2 (OT) to Yorkton on home ice, and dropped a 4-2 decision in Weyburn in the Sherwood Final.

- AND... the Journey song I posted below is 4:10 in length... and they don't even say "Don't Stop Believin' " until the 3:21 mark! With 49 seconds left... they finally say the title. Is that how it's always sung? Or just that particular live version? Seems a little bizzare... I could have sworn that was part of the chorus a couple times before that.

- North Carolina beat Michigan St in the NCAA Basketball Championship last night? Does anyone care?

7:15 Pre Game Show... Play by Play at 7:30 on GX94 from the Elgar Petersen Arena in Humboldt. REEEEEEALLY hope it's not our final broadcast. Either way, it's been the most fun I've had calling hockey... just hoping it's not over yet. They can do 'er... and they know it.
