Broncos 3-Peat

Not much I'm going to say tonight. It's late, the season's over (for me), and I've gotta work in the morning.

But a 5-1 win for the Humboldt Broncos in Tuesday's Game 5 wrapped up their third consecutive SJHL title infront of a packed (and loud) house at the Elgar Peterson Arena. Nick Keller (2), Steven Schroeder, Tanner Vandesype and Joel Belair scored for the Broncos, who out-shot Melville 29-18. Levi Lind scored Melville's last goal of the season, as the Millionaires fell 4-games-to-1, after winning the first game of the series.

The Broncos will meet the MJHL Champion Portage Terriers in the Anavet Cup for a second straight year.

Congrats to the Broncos, and thanks to the Mils for a heck of a ride this post season.

More to come in the next day or two.
