You've all seen Teddy Bear Toss night somewhere before... well, the Yorkton Terriers are doing it for the first time tomorrow (SAT) night when they host the Notre Dame Hounds. Bring a new or gently-used teddy bear to the game, and chuck it on the ice when the Terriers score their first goal.
They'll be given out to less fortunate kids in the community for Christmas.
It's a great cause, so litter the ice with bears! You know, something like THIS:
Okay, that's the Calgary Hitmen, and the Saddledome, a 20,000 seat facility... but give them a run for their money at least!

Don't know if the Terriers thought of this....but on such a great promotional night such as the Teddy Bear Toss.....hopefully they game some tickets out to the schools as well as sent home info with the kids. Too many times, no one know about promotions such as this unless you are a loyal Terriers follower. Unfortunately, for a city the size of Yorkton, there just aren't enough of those!!!
