VOTH SOLID IN MILS DEBUT

Making his first start as a Melville Millionaire, Blake Voth stopped 32/33 shots, and the Millionaires beat Kindersley 4-1, to start off a three-in-three weekend.

Fellow newcomer Russell Trudeau had another huge night, scoring twice and adding one assist, and now has a remarkable 5-goals and 7-points in three games with the Mils.

Jesse Mireau had a goal and an assist, Lee Christensen scored, and Ian McNulty added two helpers.

The Mils have now won three straight, and are off to Battleford on Saturday, before a return trip to Kindersley Sunday.

The Swan Valley Stampeders fell 5-3 to Neepawa on Friday afternoon.

Former Stamp Robby Moar led Neepawa with 2g-1a, while the Stamps got goals from Anthony Nobili, Brendan Mitchell and Jeff Riddell.

Alcide Grenier made 29 saves, and was backed up by 16-year-old Jordan Liske, as Jayson Argue continues to battle an injury.
