The Terriers are on their way home with all four possible points on their trip, after a 5-4 shootout win over the Battlefords North Stars on Thursday.

Ryley Stefanyshyn scored twice, his first two SJHL goals, while Ryon Sookro also had a pair, and the shootout winner. Brendan Poncelet added a pair of assists.

Dawson MacAuley stopped all three shooters he faced in the shootout, and 33/37 shots in the game.

Special teams were big again for the Terriers, as they scored three times on six PP chances, and added a short-handed goal, their first SHG of the season.

Back to back wins bumps the Terriers' record to 11-10-0-1, and puts them above .500 for the first time since September 30th.

Cory Simons recorded his second shutout as a Wolverine, making 20 saves, as Wayway thumped the OCN Blizzard 7-0.

Brett Lafond had a hat trick, while Thomas Ward-Cardinal had 1g-3a.

The Wolverines are now 2 points up on OCN for 2nd in the Sherwood, and travel to OCN on Tuesday and Wednesday, both games will be on GX94.
