STAMPS/WOLVERINES BOTH EARN POINTS

Jayson Argue had another monster game, stopping 39 of 41 shots in a 3-2 shootout win over the Wayway Wolverines.

Shane Goodrunning scored in the first period for Wayway, and it stayed 1-0 Wolverines through 40 minutes.

Jagger Thomas scored his 2nd in as many nights, tying the game Swan Valley, and Troy Hoban gave the Stamps the lead on the powerplay.

Tyler Posch tied it with just over a minute to go, forcing overtime, and eventually the shootout.

T.J. Fairall and Tony Partridge scored in the shootout for Swan, while Argue stopped both Brett Lafond and Pinkerton.

The Stamps are without a regulation loss in their first four games, at 3-0-0-1, while the Wolverines sit at 1-0-0-1, and host the Steinbach Pistons Sunday at 4:00.
