GERRY JAMES PROMOTING BOOK AT SUNDAY'S TERRIER GAME

Former Yorkton Terrier Coach & Owner, and Former Melville Millionaire Coach Gerry James will be on hand at Sunday's Terrier home game against the Estevan Bruins.

James is promoting his book, Kid Dynamite, along with the author Ron Smith during a cross-country tour.

Gerry has several professional sports records, and played for the NHL's Toronto Maple Leafs, AND the CFL's Winnipeg Blue Bombers. He's the only athlete to play in both the Grey Cup and the Stanley Cup in the same season (1959-60).

That Bruins-Terriers game is a 6:00 start on Sunday.

GX94's Randy Atkinson spoke with "Kid Dynamite" author Ron Smith earlier this month.

Gerry James was always colorful and entertaining as the coach of the Yorkton Terriers! He coached the team to a championship against Weyburn when I was a teenager, I was at that game 7 in Weyburn!Truly, I think some people came to the games just because of him!Really what an accomplishment of athletic abilities! Gotta love Gerry James!
