The Swan Valley Stampeders travel to Portage tonight for Game 1 of their first round series against the Terriers.
Its the 3rd time in the last 4 years the Stamps and Terriers have met up in round one. Wayway was in Portage in the opening round the other year, so I've been in Portage for opening night of the MJHL Playoffs in 4 straight years.
While it is a 1 vs 4 matchup, the Stamps played the Terriers well, splitting the 8 game season series. The Stampeders were 4-3-1 against Portage, with one loss coming in a shootout.
