Swan Valley Stampeder forward Jesse Enns will sit out two-thirds of his 20-year-old season, after he was assessed a 40-game suspension by the MJHL today.
Enns received a match penalty for his hit on Portage defenseman Tyler Harland at the end of Game 6 of their playoff series Saturday night (Mar/12) in Swan Valley.
Portage won the game 4-1, and the series 4-2.
Stampeders Assistant Coach Dallas Anderson and Portage Assistant Jim Tkachyk both received 22-game suspensions, and were each fined $1,500. Swan Valley Head Coach Dwayne Kirkup's been fined $1,000 and suspended 2 games for failing to control his bench.

Wow, that is a hefty suspension, was the fellow injured that he hit, not that I mean it makes a difference a bad hit is a bad hit, and I hope he is OK, that is just pretty severe suspensions
