Adam/Krupski Suffer One Point Losses in 'C' Finals

Yorkton's Gerry Adam and Whitewood's Jason Krupski were each one point shy of advancing to the Saskatchewan Provincial Tankard.

Adam had the hammer in an extra end against Mark Lane, but gave up a steal of one to lose 6-5.

Krupski fell 9-8 to Jamey Jordison at Southern Playdowns. Krupski stole a point in the 9th end to tie, but Jordison took a single in 10.

So Adam, Krupski, and Langenburg's Jeff Hartung all came up short of advancing to the Tankard... but there will still be some local flavour there. Yorkton's Terry Marteniuk received a bye to provincials with a Tour Championship win, while Jeff Sharp, also from Yorkton, plays third on Carl deConninck-Smith's Rosetown rink. They won the 'A' Final at Northerns to advance.
