Stamps' Streak Snapped

The Swan Valley Stampeders saw their winning streak end at 4 games, after Wednesday's 3-2 home ice loss to the OCN Blizzard.

The Stamps did have two leads in the game, on goals from Jeff Riddell and Connor Pennell. They were also without Shelby Gray for a second straight game, who's battling an injury.

Jason Argue was in goal for a second straight night, and made 25/27 saves.

The Stampeders are home again this Friday and Saturday, against Selkirk and the Winnipeg Saints.

P.S... WHY WERE ONLY 374 PEOPLE THERE TONIGHT??? WHAT DO PEOPLE WANT???

I agree Craig, being a Terrier season ticket holder I can not believe how low our fan support has been this year, we are a first place team. I cant figure it out!

They disallowed one of our goals (in the 3rd period I believe), but allowed an OCN goal that they talked about for a long time.. Oh well that's hockey for ya

OCN played the game without their leading scorer T.J Constant, their top scoring d man and captain Dale Warkentin as well as their number center Mike Collins. If your going to use the fact that the Stamps were missing Gray as an excuse mention who their opponents were missing as well.

Who made excuses? I wasn't there and didn't pour through the lineups to see who played and who didn't. I didn't go in depth with OCN because they're not one of the teams I cover. Sorry to offend!
