Clarke Breitkreuz scored a short-handed goal, but Team Canada West will have to hope for a Bronze Medal at best, as they fell 5-1 to the United States in the World Junior 'A' Challenge Semis.
Team West will face Switzerland, who they lost 5-4 in overtime to in the round robin.
USA and Canada East meet for gold.
