Visitors Sweep First Hwy 10 Series / Logan Herauf

After the Melville Millionaires left Yorkton with a 2-1 (SO) win on Friday night, the Yorkton Terriers rolled into Melville Saturday and skated to a 5-2 win.

The Terriers were up 2-0 after two periods on goals from Nathan Murray and Zak Majkowski... but the Millionaires tied it with two quick ones to start the third, thanks to Cody Hanson and Brayden Metz.

Craig Eisenhut put the Terriers ahead to stay with the game winner, followed by Majkowski's 2nd of the game, 8th of the year (should be 9th, pending a change!), and a late PP goal from Kelly Leismeister.

Shots were 32-31 Terriers.

Yorkton's now 7-1-1-2, while the Mils fall to 3-6-0-1.

Logan Herauf is back in the SJHL.

Herauf played for the La Ronge Ice Wolves Friday in Battleford, and scored a goal and an assist in a 4-3 Ice Wolves win Saturday in Kindersley.

The trade melville made for Jahraus doesn't look so good now. Herauf is going to be one of the best in the league and Jahraus is turning out to be a 20 year old flop...Mils should get rid of him and give rakochy the rains and develop him!

Jahraus was lights-out in Yorkton on Friday... the key will be consistency the rest of the way.

Also, won't name names because it's not fair to "assume" but I'm thinking at least one WHL forward will be making their way to the Mils before too long... maybe two.

Well, after that showing by Jahraus... what a joke. Every goal he let in was weak. And I'm the kind of guy who lets the goalie get the benefit of the doubt. But not after that showing. You are right Craig, consistency will be the factor... He was lights out in Yorkton... and a rough outing at the Stadium...I am curious to see what you are referring to... maybe Lucas Froese out of Swift? I have had my eye on him....

Ya I think Froese is the best odds... noticed he didn't play last night and has 0 points. There's another listed player in Kootenay who was pointless on the season but scored his first goal last night.

Christian Magnus perhaps?
