I wanted to go in the worst way tonight, but couldn't, as most of my evening was spent in the Yorkton walk-in clinic. I really thought the worst of my cold was over with, but a second wave came back with a vengeance. Finally swallowed my pride and went to the doc, and I have some antibiotics now.
In any case, I've been told it was a beauty of a game, and both goalies played great. Are Peters and Bodnarchuk the top two tendies in the league?
The Terriers built a 3-0 lead through two periods, and held off the Humboldt Broncos, who scored twice in the first minute of period three... Terriers hung on to win 3-2.
Nathan Murray opened the scoring on a first period PP goal, while Kyle McLeod and Craig Eisenhunt tallied in the second.
Something had to give, as the Terriers were perfect at home, and the Broncos had an unblemished record overall. The Terriers improved to 5-0 at FAA, 6-1-1-1 overall, while Humboldt is now 6-1.
This is also my first post from my new BlackBerry, which I finally cracked and purchased today. I think it'll be a big time saver on the bus, and allow me to get info on here a little quicker. So far I feel like an old man using a cell phone for the first time. These things are complicated, and I could text WAY faster with my old school flip phone!
