Stamps & Wolverines Both Win, Terriers Lose at Home

The Swan Valley Stampeders became the first team in the MJHL to hit the 10 win mark, with a 3-2 decision over the Winnipeg Saints on Saturday.

The Stamps trailed 2-1, but scored two late second period goals, including Brad McDonald's second of the game with 4 seconds left in period two. Shelby Gray scored the other, his team-leading 11th of the season.

Clark Byczynski had 2 assists for the Stampeders, and is the second highest scoring defenseman in the MJHL, with 11 points.

Swan Valley's biggest test of the season will be this coming week, when they hit the road for 4 straight, including OCN on Tuesday, and Portage on Friday.
