Mils Hang On to Clip Hawks

As I asked Jamie Fiesel on our Post Game Show, is it "Home Sweet... Road?"

The Mils improved to 3-2-1 away from home (1-5 at Melville Stadium), with a 3-2 win Tuesday in Nipawin.

Michael Desjarlais scored in the first period, while Cody Hanson (SH) and Mark Owen added second period markers to give Melville a 3-0 lead.

The Hawks scored with 30 seconds remaining in the middle frame, and again early in the third, but brilliant goaltending from Kyle Jahraus preserved the win.

The shot clock said 24-17 for Nipawin, but me and Feez agreed that was grossly low for both sides.

The Millionaires are in Melfort tonight (WED). CK 750's Gino De Paoli will cover for me with all the action. Thanks again Gino!
