Austin Bourhis is one of 11 defensemen still in camp with the Prince Albert Raiders, and one of them is a 15-year-old first rounder who's not eligible to play this season.
So really, the Raiders will likely only cut two more blueliners.
Bourhis spent last season with the Yorkton Terriers and was named Co-Rookie of the Year as a 17-year-old.

Not heard any news about Tayler Thompson on your Blog...he has survived the Prince George Cougars camp so far and will be playing in their first Exhibition Game Saturday in Edmonton. He's a local boy, formerly with the Harvest AAA team.
Thanks for the info. Some team's websites are better than others and I've been focusing more on returning Jr A guys at WHL camps.
Craig, what do you think of the Yorkton blueline if/when they lose Bourhis on top of Byczynski? Might not be much of a strength.
It'd definitely be a big hit, but Tendler and McDermott will lead the charge, Leismeister and Decker were good shutdown guys last year, and then odds are one or two of the three guys (Bourhis, Niebrandt, Vandane) at Dub camps will be back. They'll be alright I think, just not AS deep as they looked originally.
