Herauf, Decorby, Peters, Byczynski SJHL All-Stars

The Yorkton Terriers and Melville Millionaires are each sending 2 players to the SJHL All-Star game Thursday, January 14th in Lanigan.

The Millionaires will be represented by their leading scorer Logan Herauf (37-19-27-46), who's tied for 2nd in the SJHL points' race, just one point back of Flin Flon's Mike Rey. Former Millionaire Aaron Decorby (now with La Ronge) (28-19-14-33) will still suit up for the Sherwood Conference.

Terrier goalie Devin Peters (11-9-1, 2.81, .906%, 1 SO) will be joined by defenseman Clark Byczynski (38-3-9-12).

The full rosters for both the Sherwood and Bauer Conferences can be found here.

Why on earth would the Mils trade DeCorby when he's doing as well as he is, is a home town boy and for what??? A trade who may or may not go through???? I don't see any logic or benefit to this at all....

doesnt say much for depth on the Terriers this season when Byczynski is on the all-star team

If Stott was healthy he'd easily be in... he was the only forward having an 'all-star' like season with 15 goals... no one else is in double digits yet. so you've gotta look at goalies and defense, and Byczynski's probably been their best 'all-around' defenseman. As a team they don't have one guy at any position who JUMPS OUT at you for an all-star ballot, but a lot of guys who are just solid. Clark's one of them.

As long as I've been at GX the Terriers haven't had a forward in the all-star game. Two yrs ago it was Sammartino, Pawelec, Trebish... last year Kirk Byczynski and Coburn, and now C Byczynski and Peters.

Yeah Clarke isn't fancy but he usually gets the job done and now three years with no forwards, I hope they finally figure out about getting some top notch scorers.

i think they're coming. if giebel (pat c's) and laird (swift) are any indication, along with Tayler Thomspon, etc with the Harvest.

Congrats to Clark and Devin, Clark does deserve to be there, as you said nothing fancy, really not many mistakes and if they do get by him he is fast enough to recover, and his physical game keeps guys heads up he can definatly deliver the big hits, remember goal scorers do not come easy no one deliver those players to you, like Trent said they are outshooting all teams if they keep it up the goals will come, go Terriers!!!
