Mark Owen scored twice in his Mils' debut, as part of a 5-goal third period by the Millionaires in a 9-3 win in Nipawin Saturday night.
Aaron Decorby had a 5-point night (3g, 2a), while Logan Herauf (2g, 2a) added four points. That gives him 12 goals and 22 points on the season, tying him for the league lead in points in Flin Flon's Devin Mitzner.
Matt Kinnunen scored twice, and Tyson Melnychuk added one, while Derek Wasylyshen added a pair of helpers.
The game summary orginally had G Brady Wilyman scoring Melville's 9th goal, but it was eventually changed to Owen's second of the game. Owen came over in a trade with La Ronge earlier in the week.
Wilyman may not have scored a goal, but he only allowed 3 on 37 shots on the night, and appears to have his grasp firmly back on the #1 goalie job in Melville, having started and won the Mils' last three games.
The Millionaires are back to .500 at 6-6-2-0, and have 9 of a possible 10 points in their last 5 games. They've quickly gone from the Sherwood basement, into a third place tie with Kindersley. The Mils are back home against Melfort on Tuesday, and Kindersley on Friday.
