Game 4 Pre Game

I think it's time this pic makes its return. And yes, that's a Bantam 'D' Provincial championship plaque in the middle. Laugh it up people.

Well, when I started this silly blog I honestly thought I'd just be talking to myself and no one else would ever see it. And now, this silly blog has Melville Coach/GM Jamie Fiesel with $350 less dollars than he started the day with. As I posted below, he was fined for post game comments which aired on the Coach's Show yesterday, which was, as all shows are, posted on this site for the world to hear. I got 278 hits yesterday which is the highest I've had in a day in a long time.

I talked to Feez today, and he raised his voice with me louder than ever before... shouting... and I think he was serious... "NNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOO SOUP FOR YOU STEINER!" Yeah, I'm still a little shook up about it. Not sure I'll be able to face him during our pre game chat tonight.

I'm not sure what else to say that hasn't already been said and everyone doesn't already know. Yorkton won Game Three 4-3, Mils lead the series 2-1, Hope's out tonight for Melville, Zubko's suspended for the hit for one game, Fiesel got fined $350, all as a result of that third game. Sooooooo... I'm thinking the intensity that wasn't really there in Games 1 and 2... WILL be more than made up for tonight. I wasn't at Game 3 but I think it's safe to say there'll be some carry-over. I just hope the two teams play hockey and that vengeances aren't taken on certain players... because all that's gonna do is create a counteraction. Is that a word?

Yorkton HAD to win Game 3. Game 4 maybe isn't AS do-or-die... but close. A loss would force them to win 3 straight, 2 of which are in Melville. But, what does home ice really mean in this series? Counting the regular season and playoffs, the home team is 5-and-6 this year when the Mils and Terriers meet.

I think that's about it.

I wouldn't doubt the Message Board has someone tonight/tomorrow asking why the game wasn't on GX94. Game 5 on Saturday will be, as will Game 6 Sunday if need be, same with Game 7 Tuesday.
