Bruins (23-21-3-4) @ Mils (30-16-3) / SJHL Award Nominees

12 days ago, the Bruins embarrassed the Melville Millionaires 14-0 in Estevan. Because of that score, the season series stats are rather slanted. For example:

- Estevan's out-scored Melville 17-8 in four games, but the Mils have a record of 3-and-1.

- Brant Harris (3-4-7) and Scott Doucet (2-5-7) are tied for the Bruins' lead in points against the Mils. Harris had 3-3-6 in the 14-0 game, while ALL of Doucet's 7 points came that night. Brody Hargarth's next with 6 points (4-2-6). He had 4-1-5 last Friday. Doucet has 14 points in his last 10 games. Half of them were in one night.

Now let's not kid around... Estevan's still a great hockey team and I think they have as good a chance as anyone to win the south despite being a fifth place team, but obviously a 14-0 game will skew the head-to-head stats a little.

- Despite allowing 4 goals on 10 shots in about 10 minutes that night, Travis Bosch still has great numbers against the Bruins this season. He's 3-and-0, with a 2.20 GAA, .930% and 1 shutout. Estevan's Tommy Legault has played all 4 games against the Mils, with a 1.76 GAA, .947% and 1 shutout. I'm thinking they'll both be in goal again tonight.

- Former Bruin Tyler Murray leads the Mils with 9 points (1-8-9) in their last 10 games.

- Home Sweet Hope. Mils' Captain Daniel Hope leads the team with 24 goals. 18 of them have come on home ice.

- Mils' rookie forward Mike Rogoschewsky is serving game one of a 2-game suspension tonight for removing his helmet in a fight with Yorkton's Travis Coghill Saturday in Yorkton.
