5 Wolverines Involved In Car Accident

From www.mjhlhockey.ca

Five players from the Waywayceecappo Wolverines were injured in two separate crashes early Wednesday morning, causing the cancellation of tonight's game between the Wolverines and OCN Blizzard.
Wayway had played Tuesday evening in Dauphin and the players, who were in two vehicles, were making their way back to their respective billets' homes.
“Apparently, the roads were quite bad,” said MJHL Commissioner Kim Davis. “One vehicle was involved in a rollover and the other vehicle left the road, but remained upright.”
“The game tonight was postponed as there are five players being assessed at hospital presently in Russell, MB.”
There has been no re-scheduled date for the game, said Davis, who noted when a date is finalized, it will be posted on the league website.

---------------

I just got off the phone with Commissioner Kim Davis and he'll run during our pre game show tonight (10 min from the time of this posting). I can tell you all 5 were taken to hospital but no one is seriously injured... but all are banged up, with one of the two vehicles hitting the ditch and rolling 3 times.
