Should be a good matchup tonight. With the Klippers making a Yorkton-Melville-Yorkton trip Feb 6-8, third place is certainly not out of the question for Yorkton, especially if they can sneak away with a road win tonight. A win would tie the two teams for third spot. Right now the Klippers are 2 points up, and have 4 games in hand, with a busy final month of the season ahead for them, a good chunk of which is on the road (6 at home, 9 on the road in their last 15). Kindersley, however, got 5 of a possible 8 points in 4 straight road games to start off the month of January. They've also won 3 straight home games coming into this one, and against 3 pretty tough teams (NIP, MVL, MFT).
I came almost halfway to Kindersley last night after last night's DQ Minor Hockey Broadcast in Springside (which was a very entertaining game by the way... 11-10 for Frame Tech over the Black Jacks). I'm at the farm in Simpson today, and the old guy's even gonna come watch the game in Kindersley. I figure I'll stay here again tonight ('bout a 3 hr drive) then drive the one hour to Humboldt for tomorrow's game.
Remember the early 7:00 starts in Kindersley... we're on the air with the Pre Game Show at 6:50.
