The Wayway Wolverines beat both Winnipeg teams over the weekend, and both 4-1. The Blues on Friday, and the Saints tonight (SAT).
Jason Bowles has re-taken top spot in the MJHL scoring race, getting his 32nd and 33rd points with a goal and an assist. Paul Marcoux scored a pair, Ryan Regel had a goal and Cody Danychuk had 2 helpers.
Rookie Carey Dyck got the start against the Addison Division first place Saints, making 22 saves on 23 shots.
The Wolverines continue to roll, now with a record of 12-3-1.

The Swan Valley Stampeders came away from Portage with no points in 2 weekend games. After Friday's 7-2 loss, the Stamps fell 4-1 on Saturday.
Andrew Bzdel got Swan's lone goal from Ryan Marshall and Ryan Griffiths.
One positive, was the Stamps held Terrier sniper Eric Delong off the score sheet for just the second time all season. Delong had a hat trick the night before.
Josh Hohn played goal for the Stampeders, making 21 saves. The Stamps managed just 19 shots on goal.

The Melville Millionaires wound up with a split in Flin Flon, losing 4-1 to the Bombers on Saturday after Friday's 6-5 win.
Shane Stanicky scored short-handed from Daniel Hope, while Travis Bosch stopped 32 of 35 shots.
The loss was the second in regulation for the Mils this season.

The Yorkton Terriers were the only GX94 team NOT involved in a 4-1 game on Saturday. They fell 3-2 in Weyburn.
Evan Neibrandt and Jordan Menke each had a goal and an assist, while the Byczynski brothers Clark and Kirk each had one assist.
Jordan Barry was back in goal, making 27 saves on 30 Red Wings' shots.
The Red Wings jump into first in the Sherwood. They're 10-and-5.

How 'bout those Battlefords North Stars? The Stars scored SIX third period goals to beat Estevan 8-5. Mitch Wall had 5 points in the win.
Battleford picked up their fifth win of the season, equalling last year's win total.
