Former Terrier Joins Coaching Staff

The Yorkton Terriers are holding a press conference at 11:00 this morning, prior to the club's golf tournament, where they'll announce the hiring of former Terrier Trent Cassan as Assistant Coach. Cassan played 3 years with the Terriers from 2001 to 2004, racking up 32-goals and 30-assists for 62-points in 56 games in his final season in 2003-04. The 25-year-old from Deloraine, MB just finished a 4-year NCAA career with the Geneseo Knights, where he had 42-41-83 in 92 games over the 4 seasons.

Much more to come today, including comments from Trent, and likely Head Coach Ed Zawatsky and President Lyle Walsh.
