- I guess B.C. came back last night to win by 2. Winnipeg did the Riders a favour, and it LOOKED like Hamilton and/or Montreal would do the same, but I guess not. Heading into their game tomorrow, the Riders are 4-0, EVERYONE ELSE is 3-2! What a crazy West Division. It'd be nice to get a win and get some cushion. Early indications say this could be a cross-over year, with the West looking so much stronger than the East. I believe Western teams vs the East are 9-2 (hopefully 10-2 by tomorrow).
- Melville beat Yorkton (WMBL) twice last night. The Mils are now 1.5 ahead of Yorkton for second spot, their most comfortable position all season. AND, last place Weyburn upset first place Regina last night, which means 2 things. Melville's only 3.5 out of first, and Yorkton's only 1.5 out of the basement (Weyburn)! Suddenly the Cards aren't so comfortable. I might have to check out the Mils and Cards tonight (7:05, Jubilee Park). Both teams are at home again Sunday night. Yorkton vs Weyburn, Melville vs Regina. Two MASSIVE games in the standings.
- Yorkton has teams in baseball provincials this weekend in 'A' Midget (in Yorkton), 'AA' Midget (in Melville), 'AAA' Bantam (in Saskatoon), and 'AAA' Junior (in Regina). Also, two local guys are on the U20 Provincial Volleyball team at Nationals in Halifax. People have been good getting us results so far, so have your radio on GX94 at the top of the hour for the latest.
- The computer's no place to be on a beautiful Saturday. Time to get movin somewhere. Want another blog to check out? Terrier executive member Al Kuntz and his wife Marilyn go through a good chunk of the States custom harvesting this time of year. They've got some great pics: www.kuntzharvesting.blogspot.com .
